Two conferences have been added to the Events page and they will both provide an opportunity to connect with Parent Advisory Councils in BC. The first is on Feb 27th in Colwood, Greater Vancouver, and the second is in Kelowna, on the weekend of April 29th – May 1st.
While the basic conference overviews don’t make any specific references to education for gifted, talented, creative and highly-able learners, it’s an opportunity to ask questions. Records of PAC meetings show that they do a lot of work on behalf of the general student body in each school. But are the PACs mandated or willing or able to help parents advocate for the exceptional children that are the focus of this advocacy website?
